Got these in a split. Terrible construction, great flavors on these 2010 EL's. Reminds me why I don't purchase EL's anymore!

I don't pay enough attention to it, but I never hear Canadians complain about the quality of Cubans. I'm one of the only people I know up here who even attempts to buy NC. I never hear my friends complain of a poor quality cuban.

I wonder if online retailers intentionally move lower quality sticks in boxes bound for US, as they know you might be more willing to accept it considering its contraband, and a reliable source that gets you the product. Where here, and other places there are more avenues to obtain it, therefore we may not tolerate receiving a box with bad sticks in them, and won't go back to that source.

Of course that theory goes out the window if the boxes the US gets are still factory sealed.

Well I read somewhere UK gets the pick of the litter, followed by rest of Europe (excluding the Swiss), Asia, and then the Swiss. Catch my drift...

In my experience this is nothing new. I began noticing this kind of stuff a few years back, then I switched vendors, only to use said vendor when the price was worth the risk. This is why you want your boxes opened for inspection.

I hope I didn't disclose to much information. I think I have been pretty vague. If I did please delete.

I agree! Open ALL boxes! Why the hell not! I know I don't want moldy, broken, or beetle ridden sticks.
