Are Tatuaje PCRs rolled in Cuba?

I bought a box recently and split it with a buddy, not sure how his half is going but 2 of the 4 I smoked were plugged, smokeable but just barely... I have had those same odds with most CCs I have had in the past. Just wondering if this is an off box or if they did in fact start rolling these in an area with less than stellar quality control. Not what I expect or what I am used to with Tatuaje. :disappoin

Only smoked 5 out of my box and they had perfect draw. Fingers crossed..

I have smoked quite a few...but haven't had draw issues. Let's see if Eric chimes in on this.....I think he has smoked more than anyone. They're like crack to him.

The ten or so I've had were fine, perhaps you got a bad box

I had a few 5'ers from a shop and about 4 were tight but outta the cab I've been smoking not one in fact they have all been impeccable.

Of the 5 or 6 I've had from my box, 1 was plugged but smokeable. The rest have had draws on the firmer, but still acceptable side. They have gotten better as time has progressed, though.

I've smoked about 40 or so of these. I've only had issues with one not drawing very well.

Perhaps it was where the box was stored ? :dunno:

All 3 that I have had were tight to the point of misery. Picked up two, first was too tight to taste. I threw it out half way and lit the second on the spot and it was worse than the first. Being bitter I didn't revisit until I heard all of the hype here. Purchased one more after examining the box for the best representative sample....strike three and out.

**I must add that the boxes that showed here in Pittsburgh, from that time, were all in bad shape. Both boxes of 7th that arrived were blown. I mean blown up, insane wrapper damage. Could have been due to the shipping or something (I hope). The spot that they are stored in is the largest shop in the western PA area, and holds more smokes than I have even seen in life or photos. Long story short the majority of the new stuff came subpar.

I am saying this because I am a huge Tat guy from years ago. Pepin and Tatuaje have a lot to do with me making it to this board. Still to this day, always the first section (of the gigantic humidor) I walk to.... every time! Just a little heart broken with the smokes as of late.

I am still looking forward to the box of Black PLs on the way. Hopefully this will change my trend of downers.

The first 3 I've had out of my box have had some resistance but not enough to effect the enjoyment. Is the box fresh? Maybe they need to settle?

I think I have smoked around 6 or 7 of these and 3 of them have been so tight they were almost unsmokeable.

I've had 5 or 6, and 3 of them had draws that were definitely tight, 2 were way too tight. 65%

No draw issues here (box dates of May and November)... only supply issues!

I had a PCR the other day out of a fresh box (Oct10) that was a bit firm, but that is as bad as it has gotten for me. I've smoked at least 50 of these.

Had them for just over a week, my cooler is usually between 62-65%.

The Tatuaje Petite Cazadores Reserva. Tasty little stick I might add. Eric refers to it as "crack", and I would have to agree.
