Alright fellas, here is another thinker. For those of you who smoke Opus, what do you think about this years releases. By that I mean, wrapper and flavor. I have noticed this past year inconsistencies in wrapper color and flavor profile compared to years prior. What do you guys think?

I haven't noticed any great changes from year to year myself. I think the flavor pops if you wait an extra year or two before you smoke them, but other than age, I haven't noticed any major changes from year to year on these. Other here have more refined taste buds than I, so I'm waiting on the verdict myself.

I'm not a huge Opus smoker, but I have noticed the wrapper color seems to be getting lighter and less rosado-y. Flavor-wise I can't really weigh in.

I think the last shipment, i.e. SEPT, is the best batch in the last 4-5.

i love the opus line! i usually let the new ones sit a few years...
