I just returned from a wonderful week in Cuba (I'm Canadian). Hopefully it won't be long until our American neighbors can enjoy the beautiful Cuban weather and hospitality. I thought it would be helpful to post some current prices for purchases in Cuba. All cigars are sold through Habanos S.A., the government controlled stores, so the prices are the same regardless where you buy them, including the duty free shops at the airports.
The currency for tourists is called "Cuban Convertable Pesos" (CUC). It is based on the American dollar with 10% added so add 10% to the prices listed below.
Cohiba
Siglo IV $12.95
Siglo V $17.00
Corona Especial $12.70
Monticristo
#1 $8.35
#3 $7.20
#4 $5.55
#5 $4.50
Romeo & Juliet
Churchill $10.65
Belicosos $7.80
Bolivar
#2 $6.95
#3 $5.70
There are other current prices listed here
