I went to my B&M the other day and was handed this freebie. It's a Gregorio Imperial Maduro, named after the shop manager (sounds pretentious, but he's actually down-to-earth). It's a very tasty, sweet, nutty stick. I'll definitely pony up a few bucks for some more! (y) Anyone else have a local B&M with a private blend?

I was visiting in Brooklyn a few weeks ago and stopped by the Blew Smoke cigar lounge (great place, by the way). I tried one of their private label house cigars, which was really good. Turns out it was made by Blue Mountain Cigars out of Miami. Had never heard of them, but I bought a couple more to go.

That's the house blend at my local. I'll try one eventually cause it's Beale St but it's made by RP so I haven't done it yet. Lowest price on any of em is still over $10 so I mean damn, I can get so much more I know is good for that price...

How many house blends do they sell at JR? That is my closest b&m. I haven't tried any of them yet. However, they also have some lines by Monte Cristo, La Aurora, and others that aren't available elsewhere anymore or at all. So, I'm sure they have something good.

I've been thinking of picking up a Monte Afriuqe. I think everybody else stopped selling them about four years ago.

My B&M has one thats apparently hand rolled for the owner from Rocky Patel. I have yet to grab one of these as i'm not a huge RP fan but now you have got me curious. I think i'll pick one up next time i'm in there. (sorry for the awful photo but that was off their instagram page).

My local is a Tinder box in Waldorf, MD and has an "exclusive" cigar called Vivalo. Vivalo used to blend for R.P. but I think Halfwheel just reported he has left R.P. I think the cigar is decent but just decent, if you know what I mean.
Several yeas ago the same B&M had a house brand called The Dog Walker and was made by Perdomo. The Criollo wrapped Dog Walker was a great cigar for the $$ IMHO.

The shop I frequent, Stogies, has several Lanceros made just for them. So far it's Fratello, Room 101, annnnd one more that's escaping me. He also has the Houstonian line, and another no band one that I haven't tried yet. After all is said and done I think there will be 13 Lanceros that can only be had here in H-Town.
