Custom Cigar Blends Anyone Ever Done It?

After smoking cigars this past year ive really discovered what I personally like in cigars and what I dont like. Unfortunately for me the flavors and sizes I tend to enjoy arent exactly the norm, so its harder for me to find new sticks I want to buy boxes full of or smoke on a regular basis. I spend quite a bit of time trying new sticks but not thoroughly enjoying them.

I know that on certain cigar factory tours drew estate being one of them, you can create your own custom cigars with the blends where you pick all the tobacco used. There are also some places online that do a similar thing where you work with a blender to create the flavor profile that you are going for.

I was wondering if anyone has ever done this and what their experience was like and if the cigars actually turned out to be what they expected.

I've done the Drew Estate one and the cigar turned out pretty decent I thought. Jere actually did a review of it and when I was fiddling in the humi the other day I found I still had one left, may be time to revisit and see what a little time did for it.

I did the Safari last year and really like the cigar I blended. You only get 10 and when they are gone they are gone, unless you go on another tour. I saw this a little while ago, looks interesting, but don't know much about it.
