Way back when, we did a little transaction which included a humidor for him and some cigars for me:applause: In the assortment was included some custom Lonesdale cigars. They originated from club Havana I'm told. The wrapper is a beautiful medium gold color, almost no veins what so ever. The wrapper rolls over the foot nicely which I like too. When I lit it, the flavor of the wrapper really gives you a sharp blast of flavor which I feel primes the cigar for the rest of the experience. The draw was a little tight but didn't effect the full smoke in the slightest. After the 1st few draws, the flavor smoothed out to a very rich, almost creamy flavor. Not mild but no bite either. The smoke itself was very full, almost like an Opus-x #5's smoke if you know what I mean. You can almost chew it.:halfgrinw The burn of the cigar was absolutely perfect throughout the entire cigar. Never burned down the side and never burned down the center leaving wrapper unburned. As I got through the middle of the cigar, the flavor stayed very consistent, never got bity what so ever just a pleasant richness. When I got to the last 2 inches, the flavor kicked up a notch and got very flavorful but again, no bitterness what so ever. Overall, this cigar was fantastic. I'd give it a 96. I also give cigars a rating on how they contributed to the overall experience of the evening. My criteria is, did it disrupt a good conversation, did it go well with the beverage of choice and did my company have the same experience. On a 1 to 5 scale, 5 being the best, this cigar got a 5 hands down. Thank you my friend. This was a fine cigar.
