I have a buddy that is a partner in a print shop, he did mine for the cost of the card stock and a few nice smokes as his "fee"

You can also use any online company that makes custom Christmas cards like Shutterfly.

For my son's birth announcement i got full color on one side and b/w on the back. It was about 40 bucks for 250 cards... at the time, that was cheeper than shutterfly.

Can't you just design your own card and print it on pictures paper?

Vistaprint is pretty cheap but you will end up with some clipped cards in the box.
