why would you do such a thing, all egg yolk does is make it soft, you need to get product that has ingredients that actually work inside the hair. best to rotate between moisture and protein. you need the protein bonds to strengthen the hair and moisture to keep it nice and pliable.
so to answer your question, no, it's not working in the longrun because you are not giving the hair what it needs.
also, leaving conditioner on more than 10 minutes is not necessary. none of that over night crap. just do a treatment for 5 minutes, rinse it out and do it again, 3 times is the best when you feel the need.
