Here is some little known info that some of you may be interested in. How to tell the year Fuente Cigars were made. On the bottom of the boxes there are 2 sets of 3 numbers. Example 123 037. It's the 2ns set of 3 numbers (037) that holds the key.

Fuente started their Dominican operation in 1980. Add the 3 number code to 1980 and you have the year of manufacture. So, using the code of example above 1980 + 037 = 2017

Here is a box of original release Angel Share with a box date of 2012. I don't think they released them until 2014 or 2015, but Fuente is know for their aging until they feel they are ready to smoke.IMG_2819.JPG

Here is a box of Opus A coffins with a date code of 2011.

Anyway, 100% accurate or not, it seems to be very close. Check your boxes and those in your B&M and see.
Let me know what you find.

I envisioned this thread going very much differently upon reading the title
Lol, I thought that might be a possibility. But @bwhite220 hasnt chimed in yet. He may have an affection for large RG Fuentes and is home getting probed for answers and anal gratification. Not that there is anything wrong with that I guess.

I noticed the box of Padron 2000 I just received had a small slip of paper with the following info

BON Nexi
Rol Aniuna
P: 22 (2C?) No 2000
C: 8
and a fairly faint stamp that reads 31 AGU 2018

not sure it that is how it's always been or not
