Davidoff NYC

My neighbor recently drove from coast to coast and stuck me with his dog. When he came back I was gifted 4 cigars from Davidoff in Manhattan. 2 of them have no bands and from doing a little googling I think they are the super selection. He said this is the only store that sells them. They are fat 5x55. I haven't lit one up because they are recovering from the long drive back. Have any of you had this cigar? It's a Connecticut wrapper and smells floral. Not something I would of bought but thought someone could enlighten me.

HAven't tried one but I'd love to as I love Davidoff. Okay...I admit, I'm a Davi Whore and love everything Davi puts out. When you smoke it, post up a review and let us know what you think about it.

I've had a few Davidoffs. We recently got a white lable B&M close by and I have tried a few of each of the lines.
But I have yet to smoke a bad one. Some, well, most weren't worth the price, but were a good smoke.

Never heard of the super selection though. Give it a shot!

Love Davidoff personally. A lot of people are turned off by the price, and I can totally understand that, however, as a special occasion cigar, Davidoff makes some of the most complex, gentle, flavorful cigars I've ever smoked. It's the kind of cigar I like to smoke at wedding receptions.

The Super Selections are very good, although I don't think they make a size that big (55 rg). I believe the SS#15 has a different blend than the others, but you can go on the Mad Ave website and find more info on these sticks. If you are a kelner fan, these are a must try as well as the Royal Salamone & Robusto, and the Manhattan that are also store Davidoff NY store exclusives.
