So fellas, I’m thinking of heading to NYC next week to check out one of the Davidoff stores for my birthday and have a cigar.

My question for you all is - have any of you been to any of their NYC locations and if so, did you smoke a cigar directly from their humidor? Did you find the cigar to be too wet or was it enjoyable? I’m wondering if I should bring a stick (not even sure if I can) and purchase a couple to take home.

Any insight would be helpful. I’m just “assuming” that the Davidoff humidor would be better regulated/maintained but I could be mistaken lol

I've heard from a local that it's amazing and he went there and loved their smokes. At a higher Ritz place like that I doubt you can bring outside smokes of your own in. Maybe a cc bribe to the store workers might work though. Let me know how it is. He was at the time square? One.

For us Long Island folk, we consider all 5 boroughs, “the city.” There’s a Davidoff of Geneva that just opened up in Brooklyn next door to Peter Luger’s steakhouse. At least I think it was next door?? They had 2 night grand opening tied in with a steak dinner from Peter Luger’s I think 2 weeks ago? Haven’t heard anything bad about it. The place looks amazing too.

Unless you want to hit up Manhattan, then I don’t have much info. Maybe @Wicket knows of a few places? I think he’s been to some of the NYC lounges.

Damn, we vacation in the East Village with the kids and we all think it’s pretty great. Dirty French is probably the best restaurant I’ve ever eaten at.

Can’t help you with info on the Davidoff lounge, I’m partial to Nat Sherman’s. The Carnegie Cigar Club and Soho Cigar Bar are on my list to visit this year

Been to all shops from about 80th south . Not a huge fan of any of the Davidoff stores but the one on 6th is my go to. I actually like Nat Sherman’s better.
