ive never had a davidoff before but i know theyre a bit pricey. i have no problem paying for quality so i was hoping to get some opinions on them.are they worth the price or are they overhyped?

The millennium blend is on my bucket list. Everyone seems to really respect it. Likewise the Avo. From what I hear, they are known for the most persistent quality.

I'm always on the fence with spending the $$ to try with the many mixed opinions I read. Let us know if you take the plunge.

Davidoff has been hit and miss for me which is a bad thing considering the price. I've had construction issues with the white label and some odd flavors here and there...like a moldy basement aroma.

The Nicaraguan is fantastic though and so are the Avo LEs and Heritage.

I recommend retrohaling most Davidoff's. Seems that when done so you pick up on more of the little nuances that make them so tasty. That being said, they are still price little bastards.

The nica is an outstanding smoke, I am in my second box. If you hunt you can get em for a decent price. Great flavor, great burn and the retrohale as said above really lets you find the flavor notes. This cigar was made to sit back and go slow, its not a fast paced cigar in my opinion.
