Looked like an awesome time...sorry I missed it. Coincidentally I got to DC Saturday afternoon for an unexpected trip.
It was. Met a lot of cool people reps and smokers. My first event as long as I've been smoking I guess that's funny. THIS is just the bag tho. I didn't do the bus ride which came with smokes and pairings and I KNOW they were handin em out on the bus. I just didnt have it in my schedule to do the ride which I will so next year tho.

Yeah I only got to hit the baileys stop in va and it was like being the new kid in the school yard for the first 3 minutes cuz everyone had been on the bus together lol. But Byrd intro'd me to all the reps and a couple smokers I lit up an asylum 13 and everything was cool. But then the bus came and I was odd man out again as they rolled to Chesapeake .... Lol. Yes those lances look very good I was surprised by the assortment and I learned alot as well.

I hear ya man. I've only been to one event before and I felt like the odd man out as well. Seemed like everyone knew each other not to mention I was at least 10 years younger than everyone. Luckily, it was a DE event and I pretty much just shot the s*** with Willy Herrera most of the time anyway. It seemed like most of the people there thought he was just some random cigar roller lol.
And a couple handoffs too. Definitely worth hitting the events. I've gotten emails for years and just never gone
I think the tweet-up was around $120 but it was geared so proceeds went to a charity. I'm sure mistaforty has all the details. Definitely worth the $$ though from what it seems. Not to mention you are going to an event as well as going home with a decent haul.
Ya I am just curious cause I would love to start going to events like these its a good way to meet new people and it is also a great way to really start a solid stash.

Still my first...but I'd definitely attend more and will definitely attend the tweetup and ride the bus next year I'm sure my hail would've been double had I been at all the stops and on the bus. The bus also had cigar and coffee/whiskey pairings I missed alot lol and still had a blast
I'm actually still in the dog house for comin home at 7a hangin and drinkin with bird man, Skip from Roma Eddie from osok, Barry from Miami cigars and a host of others whose names I don't know ....just crazy

The bag automatically had 30 -20 from the participating manufacturers and 10 Ortega lances made for the event ...Then a couple handed here a couple handed there and I did buy a few. I'd estimate bus people ended up closer to 50ish plus smoked at least 5. My next big one will probably be The Big Smoke which I believe is Vegas and/or New York
