Compressor is not working.

I don't need the wineador to regulate temperature. It rarely reaches above 70 degrees in my place.

Would I need to remove the compressor and components on the inside to prevent moisture from compressor and parts?
If so, how difficult and time consuming is that process? My current setup is a few desktop humidors and some air tight Tupperware.

The trays are worth a lot more then 20 bucks. Why remove the compressor if you don't plug it in?

I bought a compressor wine cooler where the compressor didn't work and haven't had any issues with it. I just disconnected the compressor so I can use the lights in the cooler.
