Debate on smoking bans

So I am on this board for my local paper debating the merits of our soon to be statewide smoking ban coming this July 5th. I finally stated a question asking if anybody could name a business, that currently allows smoking, where you have to go out of necessity or there isn't an alternative business.

Nobody has been able to supply an answer his answer yet.

Definitely disappointing that bars have to have smoking bans. Here in northern Iowa when the winter gets too damn long it was nice to run to a bar and spend a few hours havin' a stogie and a few drinks. Now I have to smoke in the hot tub I have outside. Not really a bad thing but you don't get to have the social interaction though.

I agree, I do most of my smoking in bars!

Couple bars around me have decided to go around this by charging 1.00 on certain nights and calling it a private club.

I am not either. Now that it's getting warmer I will sit in my backyard and enjoy a cigar but yesterday was a bit cold. I was smoking an Oliva MB 3 and had to give it up halfway through as my hands were going numb.
