I found a Danby Millenium 40 bottle Wine Cooler on craigslist for $150 CAD, the location is a little far from my current residence so I'm debating whether its worth it.

The cooling range is 42-57 degrees F and it has electronic cooling controls that maintain an exact temperature at different "zones" so its hard to say, I've contacted the seller so I'll find out for sure.

Yup, the Buyer's Guide Tab show Thermoelectric

Unfortunately I think that blurb about the thermoelectric feature in the buyers guide was just that, a general guide and not necessarily for that model. As bdc30 pointed out the model he pulled up appears to have a compressor, what I'm unsure of is whether or not the model he found is the SAME model as the one I found or just one very similar, I won't know for sure until I hear back from the Seller.
