bought! had an online coupon,,, pickup at 5 at Bevmo!! still pretty new to the scotch scene,,, did i do good?

All good scotches, if I had to choose one for you to bring to the herf, I would go with the Macallan:headroll:

I think you did pretty good. I have not tried the Lagavulin or the Laphroaig yet but you need to be prepared for the unique characteristics of an Islay Scotch. At first you may be quite put off by them but give them a few minutes to breathe and maybe even add some ice and it will be easier to appreciate them for what they are.

The first time I cracked the Laphroaig 10 year I thought...man, I'll probably never finish this stuff. Next thing I knew, the bottle was gone. :bottle:

Both very good. I love how the Nadurra is cask strength so it does not get over powered by a cigar if you smoke while drinking it.

I have never tried the Balvenie 15...yet. I have the 12 yo Double Wood and it is very good...light...but very good.
