Hi. I joined about 3 weeks ago. I learned tons about humidor care. It was very helpful.
I am former cigarette smoker that was hesitant to try cigars. I worried about falling off the wagon. I bought one on vacation and loved it (I don't remember what it was) and no desire for cigarettes. Later in the trip I tried a Rocky Patel 1990 Tubo. I loved that one, too. When I got back, I looked up what the RP was about and realized I dumb-lucked into a decent cigar. I went to the local B&M with my tolerant wife and picked up a couple of others to try with her permission. Since then, I've tried many different ones. Found a few favorites and others not so much. I am still learning a lot from this forum, and I am sure I will continue to do so.
I am from Waterford, MI, a far north suburb of Detroit. I am a big fan of the Detroit Lions and Tigers. I am also a huge Liverpool FC fan, too. I am an engineer in the auto industry (how many engineers in Metro Detroit aren't?). Thanks for allowing me to be part of the forum.
