2 weeks down, 6 more days to go. Haven't had 1 cigar! And let me tell you, I'm going to be a smoking fool when I get home. Especially with all the great stuff I got while I was away, I'm like a kid on Christmas! And to get married of course, that's exciting too.

Congrats on the pending nuptials! We will all raise a glass and cigar in your honor, as your freedom is ENDING :hammersma
Guys joke about that a lot, and I get it, but believe me it's not true.

Taking my wedding vows was the single greatest thing I've ever done, followed closely by fatherhood. Nothing has ever come as close to being as satisfying, fulfilling, or full of pure joy as giving up my life to serve my wife. When you live for yourself, you're constantly unhappy when things don't go your way. It's a frustrating, and ultimately empty way to live. When you live for someone else, it's easy to be happy.

This is what happens when you forget to log off before your wife uses the computer :)

Just kidding :). I'm sure most the married guys here would agree

lol John. Truth be told, this has been probably the most exhausting period of my life since the end of college. In addition to being a branch manager and all the stress that entails, my wife is on bedrest (twins are due any day now!) and has been for two months, so I'm doing all the cooking, dishes, cleaning, laundry, diapers, bedtime routine, and everything else a household needs done pretty much on my own as soon as I get home from work. I don't get a break from the time I wake up until all the kids are asleep and all the household stuff is done, usually sometime after 9pm.

And you know what? I don't think I've ever been more satisfied with life. My wife is happy, my kids are happy, and so I'm pretty darn happy these days, even if it's more work, more sacrifice, and more exhausting than ever!

It was certainly said in jest!

I would not trade my wife or kids for anything! There is a great sense of personal accomplishment in being a good husband and dad!

Man I laughed really hard from that!

I can relate to LNB too (maybe not to the extent that he has it), but nonetheless, I can relate. Working 50+ hours a week & then having to take care of a 7 year old & a 7 month old by myself on the weekends when my wife sometimes works 12 hour shifts on both Fri & Sat nights (just did it this past weekend) is very hard to do sometimes. At the end of the day, it is worth it to me so my wife can stay home with the kids throughout the week. Marriage/family/raising children is a lot of things, but "easy" definitely isn't one of them! :)

Lol sorry if that came across as me jumping on ya, didn't mean it to come across that way. I meant more just to let Anthony what an awesome time he's in for, I knew you were joking.

Say no to the VR, but say yes to the O'Reilly. The VR needs to lay low a bit more. Also, dry box your cc's before you partake. The higher humidity, refrigeration, and constant air circulating don't lead to tasty CC treats.

Maybe I missed this, but why can't you smoke? And congrats on the upcoming marriage. Life is a wonderful trip and it is nice to have someone to share it with.
