A noob question I know. But, do you ever have to reseason them? I guess I’m asking about smaller, desktop size 20-100 count or so, sized ones. Not like one that hasn’t been used for a while, but like one that is used regularly.
Just wondering really. I’ve got several tuppers, a jar, & an ammodor. There’s spanish cedar in the bottom of the jar & the ammodor is lined with it. All my stuff is holding Rh fine. Just wondering if through opening, closing, adding, & removing cigars if there was ever a need to reseason the spanish cedar. All my stuff is regulated with bovedas.
Season or re-season your humidor. Seasoning is a no brainer. For some reason it seems to cause a lot of agita on this board. To see how simple it is lol at this video:
Needed equipment:
Humidor - Sounds like you have a wood humidor
Humidi-bag ($4.99 Large bag from JR Cigars) or an airtight tupperware-like container
Suitable amount of Boveda seasoning packs (depends on size of humidor...watch video)

Keep the damn lid on the humidor closed for 2-weeks. There is no need to check on it. Relax, smoke cigars out of the temporary storage, grab a drink of you favorite beverage of choice and let Boveda work it’s magic.
