BOTL UPCOMING MAINTENANCE
Hi Everyone, as mentioned in my introduction post, BOTL needs quite a bit of updating, patching and whatever else I might come across. Over the next few weekends BOTL may be unreachable on occasion as I do migrations or updates, etc. Just be patient - we'll be back! I'll generally try to keep these maintenances until later in the evenings.

Forever? God no.
What they are talking about here, a much longer life? Yes, yes I would.
Though it's saddening to me that each generation born is expected to outlive the previous one, except for my age bracket... we are supposed to have a shorter one.

Aside from economical/population-related issues that would arise - If I live to 300, as does everyone else, we are going to run out of every resource super fast.
But those are other hurdles. All of the negative things aside - Economy, resources, and seeing loved ones die, a longer life (say 200 healthy years) would be cool, yes

I dont know if i would like to live any longer than say 90, (If i make it that far) But it sure would be nice to reach 200 and see how the cigar industry/blends develop!

Forever...absolutely not and I don't think we should. We already have horrible over-population, just thing what kind of a resource burden that would be if everyone was living to be hundreds of years old. Especially if the birth rate stayed the same. Besides, if it is your time it is your time and no amount of medicine will help you.

Only if I could maintain the same level of physical and mental capacity throughout. What's the point of living to 300 years old if you're wheelchair bound and senile for the last 225 years of that time?

As a Demography student, I can tell you that, if everyone on the planet were to live as "green" as I do, with the same diet, commuting patterns, housing conditions, and airplane usage patterns, we would already need approximately 4 planets to provide the needed resources.
We would be living in a sea of Indians from the northern provinces of India.
All that aside, I would want to live long enough for mankind to make contact with lifeforms from other worlds, or at least to understand how to navigate between dimensions... assuming they exist.
