Doctors visit

I thought I would share because I thought it was funny. So I've been fighting what I now know is a sinus infection for a week. When the nurse asked why I needed to be seen I told her that my sinuses are irriating me because I can't taste my cigars. The nurse looked at me with a puzzled look and I said I'm not joking. So the doctor comes in and smiles and says well let's get you better and back to your cigars.

I know a few doctors that wouldn't tell ya not to smoke cigars... In fact I know one that might actually give you a cigar as a prescription to lower your stress level. A good Doc knows that happiness cures a lot of things in this world.

Hope you get over your sinus infection soon. Glad to hear that you are not seeing a "Quack" but a real Dr. that knows there are many other things you could be doing far worse than smoking cigars or a pipe. Thanks for sharing as we do not hear this kind of thing often enough.

This is good to hear. Every time I go see my Doc he's always asking "So have you considered a smoking cessation program to beat that addiction?" I tried explaining that there is no addiction, but he just smiles and nods... I can't wait to change insurance plans.

I don't think he has a clue. Typical Southern California Health Nazi mentality. He also wants me to weigh less than I did when I was playing varsity soccer in high school... he's a nimrod.
