I got this Don Thomas this week at a local B&M. Note how the cellophane is yellowed.

Is it because they had it for quite some time or does maduro wrapper tend to do that?

I've never notice that before.
But hey. If they want to age cigars for me, why not?

I wouldn't say maduro wrappers tend to yellow the cellophane any quicker than other wrappers. It's just a sign of it being aged, IMO. Chalk it up as a score if you like that brand. :)

Thanks.

That's what I tought.

Don Thomas are OK, and better in maduro.
The cold draw has very chocolaty flavors with some spices.

Their box is at least half filled. I think I'll score more:)

I believe that this is merely a sign that the cigar has been aging for a while....if your B&M maintains a proper humidity level you may be in for a treat!!

Personally, I have a difficult time with maduros in my humi as they often end up having burn issues -needing to be touched up frequently while smoking is a real pain....not a deal breaker like a tight draw but a pain in the ass none the less....any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks.
