Does this look strange?

Got 2 boxes in today from another brother. As soon as I took them out, I thought the tops looked odd. They are not stamped like mine, they are just printed on there. Unfortunately I no longer have any smokes from 05 as I smoked them all. So, I can not really compere smokes side by side. Anyone have on that they know is for real they could sell me, that would be appreciated.

I think you are ok. Just looks like the ink was running low when they were printing on your box. How to the cigars themselves look?

I am going to guess the top is due to removing those stickers that have pics of lungs and cancer spots on them...seems right size and spot. and for the date stamps...they look legit but I don't have anything to compare too...let me dig through my old ones and see if I can find similar.

Sounds like a simple case of comradely, How well do you know this brother and do you trust him? Nothing like being burned by someone you know, a little benefit of the doubt I guess would have to play a part in this one. I would hate to think another brother would get you like this. "His" box looks completely different than yours, from the placement of the Habanos Chevron, to the alignment of the H. Upmann stamp (the spacing between the "Magnum 46", the "25" and the "H. Upmann" are completely different) on the top, to the lettering inconsistencies on the back.

By the way, all boxes are ink stamped.

Look at the logo below H.Upmann. Below the crown yours has a teardrop shape. His is clearly a cirlce. Seems to be off quite a bit.

I'd also be a bit concerned about the freshness of the ink on his. It looks like it was printed yesterday. Considering this box is 5 years old the ink should've faded a bit in my opinion. Not to mention that the font of the printing on his box looks to be much larger than yours. That plus the opposite positioning of the seal and habanos chevron all raise concerns for me.

Are they the exact right vitola after measuring? Seem to be
What is the first letter, in red, on the warranty seals (2005 should be G or H only)? One is G, the other H
Have you examined the seals under black-light? NO
Do you trust the ORIGINAL source of the box? Seems legit as he has many positive TC

In looking at your pic, you seem how the ink is also stamped into the wood? This is the way mine looked, it just seemed odd that they others were just printed, no impression and the leaves are not as defined. I know they come from different factories, thus different codes, I assume. Yes, all your info helps very much.
