:thumbsup:Thanks I've been curious about this for a while. If you can find the old bands, GET EM! And get me some! They have developed beautifully! They changed bands around 2005 I believe. Same stick, just aged.
The DPG Blue Label Exquisitos, Preferidos and Demi-Tasse still do not have cell on them.Another change that was made was in 2007, which is when DPG Blues started to come in cello. So if you find some with the old band and no cello they are from '06 or earlier....that is unless someone took them out of the cello.
I pulled one from my humi the other day. It had been sitting for about 4 months and it hit the spot. Burned well, drew well, no harshness... In fact, I loved it so much I bought a box.I bought several over a year ago and they had the old label. I liked them then. Bought some this spring, new labels, smoked one and it was harsh and not very good. Now I think I'll break another of the new ones out and try again. Thought they must have changed the blend...
i was thinking the exact same thing!!I got some of the old bands... the cigars are missing through. :"(
