I've been doing a fair bit of cbid lately, just because, it allows me to pick up a bunch of 5 packs, and try out different sticks. This is ok, because I don't have a refined palette yet.
I've been mostly bottom feeding at this point, so no regrets, but I can imagine the havok alcohol might wreak.
(Just picked up some Gurkha legends on the cheap, and hoping my Xikar bid goes through.)
I wish mine was relegated to samplers and 5-packs.....last night I grabbed a box of 64 Maddie Torpedoes and placed bids (way too high, to boot) on several other boxes.........:halfgrinw :nono:
On a similar note, I ordered a daily special from a CI email (20 Cubre Libre's) for $29.95. My wife ,who occasionally orders me cigars :awholelot got the same email daily special and ALSO ordered them for me. So, a quick call to customer service and they said return one of the packages and they would credit my account. So, now I get to find something new for that $29.95.
I don't CBid anymore, not because of my spending, but more of the fact I can ge better deal elsewhere on the items they are selling that I want to smoke. I also don't smoke everyday so I'm very picky on what I do smoke when I take the time to do so.
I'm goin to have to take cbid off my favorites list. I keep going there and putting low bids on things and would be happy to win but I KEEP winning. I have my humidor full and bought my second cooler(they're medium sized all I can get here). I have four boxes on the way two from cbid and two from cigarplace.biz. Hmm I need to stop buying for a little while. Maybe after a box of Guapos and Illusiones....
