My wife and I just got woken up here in DC. Trying to find news, Looks like USGS has some activity in the area. Anyone else??

Glad everyone is alright. Rare for around here.

Quantico Marine Corps Base has a 10 day war going on and they are dropping the 250 lb'ers along with the 155's so did not notice anything down here.

Yeah that shits scary. Had one here in vermont recently and it scared the piss out of me. I can't even imagine being at the epicenter of a earthquake above 5 points.

Well gents I'm staying down town DC NW area, We have a few guys staying where it hit, they didn't even know there was one .... I didn't feel a thing, (But I did wake up on the floor) this morning.....I just though it was to much drink .........:nodlaugh:

Okay...to be fair...I geologist once told me that small earthquakes feel worse out East because the soil/substrate is so packed and rigid that the ground "rings like a bell." Glad everything is okay there.
