Can any Ebay sellers confirm whether or not there is seller protection if shipping to Taiwan? Someone in Taiwan is interested in buying from me. I haven't sold on Ebay in quite a while and want to make sure that I would be protected from chargebacks etc.

Thanks in advance for any help

refund the buyer. it will cost you a fortune to be able to track the item and you can only insure an item up to $49 through usps to taiwan.

He's put an offer on it, but I haven't accepted anything. How about UPS? Are you protected up to a higher dollar amount? AMount in question is about $200.

if you head to www.ups.com, they provide you a shipping calculator and how much they would insure you for. i still think that the item you would be sending would cost a lot to ship, but like i said, check out the ups website.

This probably goes without saying but make sure the buyer has a lot of (good) feedback if you are going to consider it. There's a lot of overseas fraud. I personally don't ship overseas because of a past issue and the costs associated.
