Hey all,

I have a question if anyone has ever tried El Surco. I was given these cigars from a friend and he got a roll of 25.

I have been afraid to try them cause they look odd. I know they are peso cigars and they have been heard to have tobacco beatle issues so I had them in the freezer for about a month before moving them into the humi.

Can anyone shed some light of these cigars and what I could expect when I tried it.

Thanks

Never heard of them but I've always wanted to try peso cigars from that country.

Never heard of them either. I think you are good to go after them being in your freezer a month! :)

Why wouldn't you try them? Every kind of cigar has beetle larvae in them, high end ones included... you have probably smoked your fair share of beetle eggs without even knowing it. Fire one up and if you don't like them, at least you know.

Let us know what you think of them after/if you decide to try one. Curious to see what the cuban locals smoke.
