Neil Young Dead: Neil Young Dies at 66

Legendary soccer player Neil Young has died at the age of 66. Young was a Manchester City forward probably best known for scoring the winning goal in the 1969 FA Cup, defeating Leicester.

Young began in 1959 as an apprentice with Manchester City and went on to become a star. “Quiet and shy away from the game, he rarely visited the club in his later years, though still followed the Blues’ progress keenly,” City said on their official website. “He will be sadly missed by his wife Carmen, family, friends and everyone connected with Manchester City.”

Young was inducted into the Manchester City Hall of Fame in 2008.

That title had me going for a second. I actually listened to a Neil Young cd driving in to work this a.m. Sorry to hear about any loss though.

No offense intended but you apparently should change the title of your post...Your gonna freak out a lot more people.

Again, I understand that the loss moved you to create a post...That's very noble....Just add "Soccer Pro" to the front of the title.

Just my 2 cents

If memory serves me right that 1969 FA Cup is the last piece of silverware City won. Too bad he didn't play for a real club.

What in the hell is wrong with being a tree hugger?
I consider myself one, for the most part, anyways
I wouldn't be caught dead in a Toyota Prius, though :rifleaim:

I saw a whole herd of those tree huggers while I was up in Bend, OR tasting all the wonderful flavors of Deschutes Brewery. Tree huggers are much more common than the elusive Bigfoot. For some reason, they are still protected by law, so you can not hunt them. I was still temped to take a shot at one of them. I had one in my crosshair but I did not squeeze the trigger. There are so many of them up there, I think they should have open season on them just to thin their numbers out. They are over populating.

It appears that in addition to being much more common than the elusive Bigfoot, Tree Huggers are far more in focus than the creature as well.

"It turns out that people that see Bigfoot don't have crappy cameras at all. He's just really blurry." - Mitch Hedberg
