I'm not sure if there are any photography fans out there. I recently purchased a new digital SLR (EOS 7D) and a few lenses (17-55 2.8 IS USM, 70-200 2.8L IS USM, 28-135 IS USM). So far it has done nothing but amaze me. I'm still learning but this thing just continues to put out amazing pictures. I figured I'd share a few of the ones I've taken over the past week or two since getting it in.

HOpefully you checked the sidearm in the DoF picture prior to taking that photo. ;)

You'll love the 70-200IS, and coupled with a 7D, I'm sure you'll love the results. I just picked up a new 5D MkII last weekend.

Great photos. I am hoping to get the wife an SLR for Christmas. She has been after one for a few years now. This sounds like it may be a good choice.
The little kids move to dang fast for standard digital cameras.

Pictures look great. I've been using Canon's for 20 years now. You should get quite a bit of enjoyment out of yours. Keep up the good work.

congrats on the 7D and the lenses, I am a Nikon guy myself (D3 and D2Xs) but either is amazing.
did you already get the software update for the 7D, check dpreview.com and it will get you there, it is supposed to fix a few bugs.

enjoy and keep on posting pics, you may even consider a pbase or similar account.
