¡Hola señores y señoras!
My name is Jesús and last night I became a Brother of the Leaf. Though still a newbie I really hope to be able to contribute to this forum. I live in central California and am a hobby linguist and a student of Latin.
My father was a long time cigarette smoker but it wasn't till 2 years ago (age of 28) that I first took a puff of anything.
My son was just 2 days old and I had decided to buy a box of cigars (50ct) for the guys at work. That night, after another day of bungling my way through being a new dad, I went out to the balcony, sat down and lit up a Connecticut leaf wrapped King Edward petit corona.
At the time I wasn't quit sure why I was enjoying it, I really didn't know how to describe the experience of smoking, I still kind of don't, (that's why I've become a member here). But all I can say was that I really was into this cigar. It was one of the most pleasant things I have ever done. That was it; I was hooked. Fast forward 2 years later and I've refined my taste some what (I guess you can say) . Though I would never buy another King Edward, after a number a samplers I evolved into a big fan of Cameroon binded Dominican filled cigars. Especially maduros! In recent months I have gravitated toward Gurkha's Black Dragons and Legends.
I know that this forum will help to refine my knowledge and taste in God's most wonderful plant: tobacco.
Thank you!:smokingme
