Anybody know anything good about Ether cigars? I'm about to pull the trigger on a box and my aim's getting shaky. Need some encouragement...

(Been up for an hour and nothin? Guess I'd better buy something else)

NAW, JR has em for $49 and you get 4 free sticks too. They're paired with Black Abyss if that helps. Supposed to be full bodied, etc but if they stink, I could spend that money elsewhere.

I haven't heard of this brand.. What other brands have you tried and liked? Maybe we could recommend something similar at that price point.
Am I the only one who gets the JR catalog?? Other similar sticks I've liked were Diesel, Camacho, and Torano Virtuoso. I'm more into Med-Full and I just had another Oliva O, and it was delicious!

When I saw the thread title all I could think of was Hunter S. Thompson...which has nothing to do with your quest for information.
There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge :D

To the OP...I wouldn't recommend buying a box of anything you haven't heard of even if it looks like your getting a deal. I also wouldn't buy a box of something you haven't tried unless your 100% certain you could immediately sell them if you didn't like them. Usually this is only something you can pull off with popular HTF sticks.

The guys that blended it also blended several Aging Room cigars, if that says anything. Plus it has some good reviews on JRs page.

Still, like the advice here, 5 pack first, then box. Maybe some guys might be interested in doing a box split?

Just noticed, their box prices are cheaper than their 10 packs? Thats kinda odd

I can tell you this, I had a black abyss and while not expecting much, I was pleasantly surprised. It was a good medium to full cigar and was a very good value for the price. Something about naming a cigar ether, just doesn't seem right, but if it's the same blender, it could be decent.

I'm with the other guys, buy a sampler, not a box. JR has had some sampler deals lately with both of them, just keep your eyes open.

Yes, I "gasp" shop on JR sometimes. They've started having much better deals then in years past, and I still enjoy a general/altadis cigar from time to time.

I believe it's because they're currently on sale. It's too late anyway, I shot this month's wad on Cig/Bid with too many successful bids. Thanks y'all!
