I started re-organizing my closet while looking for some radio antennas I haven't seen in a while. I thought they might be on the lower layer that has two boxes on top. While looking I find a disfigured Thompson's pleather cigar case which somehow has cigars still in it, and oddly enough they look in OK shape, just maybe a little dry.

Well except this is a little bent, but I might still smoke it:

So I keep digging in this stuff finding things I packed away 3 years ago and haven't touched in a long while. I next stumble upon a small cigar box sized humidor. You know the kind that you get when you get a sale bundle from one of those online vendors to try and convince you to buy it? Inside there are a few more cigars, and some matches from back when we had a herf in Ybor city years ago. Then I find this box with a lighter I totally thought I had lost:

You can still buy these, so I was almost tempted to order another one at one point:

Cool finds. Makes me wanna pack some shit away just so I can find it later :)

Many years ago after my divorce I moved out of the house and the following year I found 10 $100 bills in a DVD case. I don't remember stashing it, so maybe my ex-wife did! LOL

We just moved into a new house about 2 months ago...

We had been living in a rental property for about a year while we searched for the right place, had the new house built, etc.. (basically spent 13 months living out of boxes)..

When unpacking I found a couple of nice smokes that I had brought back from Dubai back in 2009.. inside a leather 3 finger travel pouch that I had totally forgotten about...

amazingly still in decent shape (they had been stored in a sealed box, inside the house where we keep it at a constant 70 degrees, and humidity in this part of the country isnt too big of a deal...

Theyve been sitting in the desktop humidifier for about 6 weeks now... will probably give one of them a try this weekend.. .

Actually just today I found a $700. check from 6 weeks ago I had forgotten about. Since this is a cigar related post I guess I should mention that's what I'm going to use it for.
