Unethical and against the law. They will prove that company is in violation of The Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and they may be fined up to 10k for each violation. Even if you owe debts, you have rights, and this company violated those rights.

However, a bit gangster and you gotta give those guys an "E" for Effort.
