Fakes fakes everywhere

We all worry about fake CC's, and the harm those can cause if smoked. Eddy Ortega was caught on facebook smoking a fohiba last night!

Well, how about the harm caused by fake Ergo Baby Carriers!!!

my wife found a "great deal" on a used carrier on ebay. the picture is a real ergo carrier. What we got in the mail today, is an obvious fake! Putting the life of my son at risk is not an option, so back it goes.

Moral of the story, fake CC's shouldn't be smoked because you don't know whats in them. Fake Ergo Carriers get sent back to China!

There is just so much "replicating" going on these days from cigars, golf clubs, baby carriers, purses…. etc. It's amazing what people will try and get away with. On the other hand, kudos to you for sending it back. It's the people out there just wanting to save a buck here or there at whatever cost that keep things going. That and naive/stupid people

Sent it back, reported to ebay and reported to Ergo... This is dangerous ground. One thing to have the stitching on your Coache' purse come undone and your phone fall out, another to have your kid fall off your back

Yeah, they will fake anything to make a buck. My old co-worker got a steal of a deal on a Cleveland driver and after hitting a few times he felt it sounded a bit off. When he went to trade it in the employee spotted it as a fake. The length they went to duplicate it was the best the employee had ever seen. He sent the club to Cleveland and even they were in awe of how close it was cosmetically. The only things off were the slightly different placement of the logo and the different shade of yellow used.

Obviously, it was technically inferior and he gave Cleveland the supplier info and Cleveland was kind enough to replace the club.

Old adage always holds, if it sound too good to be true, it probably is.

Can't agree more. I have the best from each genre. Infant chaperone, toddler advocate and booster pavilion. Pain to carry around when moving since mostly steel. They are nicknamed the orphan makers lol
