The Azteca should be an interesting cigar.

IMO, Gran Habano doesn't get a lot of credit for what they put out. I don't think I've ever had a bad cigar from their line, and they have several great blends at VERY reasonable prices. I just had a Blue Label and a Connecticut #1. While not being crazy complex, they were both very good. I love their Corojo #5 as well.

Regards,
Randy

I have had a lot of custom cigars to come out of Rico's Danli factory and some of the most recent with the Mexican maduro wrapper have been the best. Don't count these out. In fact, I'd say search them out. Mexican maduro leaves from the San Andreas valley have consistently been some of the best tasting wrapper leaves I've ever had in my life. Very unfairly (pre) judged tobacco.

That being said, I think its funny that George claims in the article that this is their first maduro. Its not like its very difficult to find out they produced one called the VL a few years back for national distribution. Maybe he was talking about Mexican maduro. I don't know.

Nice stick! had the chance to smoke a few pre-release stick. I think this
maybe the same wrapper as padron uses. The cigars are very impressive to
look at. And they smoke pretty good too.
