I've been wanting to purchase a few cigars that come in coffin boxes and tuck them away in my humi.
I like the idea of a single cigar having it's own personal box, it seems to be the ideal way to celebrate a special occasion (aside from a well aged CC)
For me it would be something to behold every time I make a selection from my humi, knowing that one day, when something really special happens, I'll get to light that special cigar up.

I have not had the opportunity to try a cigar out of a coffin box, but I'm interested to see what everyone's favorites are. My hope is that, with your guidance, I can pick out a few great cigars and when the day comes, I won't be disappointed.

Montecristo A, hands down!

Among NCs, probably the Old Man and the "C" (brown label). Those sticks are crazy tasty.

Ha! At first I thought this was about being buried with 1 cigar. I'm glad it got cleared up early! To answer your question, I'm in your boat. I've never had one, but I hope to buy a few soon.

One that I enjoy and looks great is the Ave Maria Reconquista. They are about 20 bucks a piece unless you can get them for a great deal, which is what I did and I am holding on to them till someones wedding or something as a gift.

I buy Camacho Liberty every year. They always age well. I just bought a few Old Man and the C Black label, and I must say, culebras are fun to smoke. I'm amazed that they draw perfectly with that crazy shape.

PDR is coming out with the platinum blend in a Solomon size in individual coffins. Despite my obvious biased view it is indeed an incredible cigar at a fair price.

The My Father 2010 LE is a great smoke as time passes. The Partagas culebra, I always keep a few on hand.

I have a Camacho Liberty resting... I'm anxious to try it. The Old Man and the C is the only "coffin'd cigar" I have tried. Loved it!
