I'd like to try a cigar out of the My Father line by DPG. Does one stand out as exceptional in flavor over the others in either the standard My Father or the Le Bijou 1922 (not interested in the Limited series right not, just regular line)?

What is the main difference between Le Bijou and standard line?

Any other recommendations in the DPG line?

Le Bijou 1922. I find it smoother than the regular line. The toros & Robos are my favorite!:stretchgr

Le Bijou for me, for sure. Slightly different flavor and a little more smooth. I enjoy both, but prefer the Le Bijou line.

Any particular size or are they all pretty consistent in flavor and strength? The Petite Robusto seems to get a lot of positive reviews.

Puff n Stuff corona gorda is unique and much better than the rest of the line.
I agree totally...while I don't like the normal LB blend, the CG is a cut above (and one of my faves of the year)...

I am also a big fan of the Blue Label lancero...

If you are gonna smoke 1, might as well smoke both and decide for your self.

The My Father line is very nice, great flavors and comes together nicely.
The Le Bijou is a bit harsher, stronger in flavors (mostly due to the wrapper) but can be a bit strong for some.
My persona preference in sizes are...
Le Bijou: Petit Robusto
My Father: Cervantes (44x 6 I believe) or the Cremas.

Smoke one of each, in a size you like (cause what I like does not matter... because you might not like the same things) and then decide for yourself.

No, it was a special release for Puff n Stuff in Georgia of Le Bijou cgs. I forget how many boxes were made but it tastes nothing like the other Le Bijou and is much better IMO.
Do they still sell them somewhere or is it too late to buy are they all gone? :timebomb:

If you know where to find some, email me at freshdesigns@hotmail.com!

Agree with my fellow BOTL's on their opinions. MF's are a go to for me when I'm looking to get a good tasty cigar that kicks like a mule.

So you prefer the Le Bijou line?

Seems like the CG limited is not available so I'm not going to worry about that one.

I prefer the Le Bijou in the Grand Robusto or Petite Robusto. This line has a richer flavor than the regular line IMHO. However, if you are a lancero fan, the My Father lancero is excellent.

Bijou toros are the one I've smoked the most, and as a rule prefer the Le Bijou line. That being said, the regular My Father lancero is phenomenal. Rest of the sizes don't really do it for me, but the lance is great.

Yes, but I have yet to have a bad MF experience, so any of them is up for grabs.

Basically, you can smoke the same type of cigar from the same box I am and have a totally different experience. So long as it's in your price point, and there aren't a mass of bad experiences with them, I would say pull the trigger on one of everything and give a shot. That's the only way to know for sure. Some will say try two or more of everything, in case you got a lackluster one, and I encourage that if you can afford and are willing to try it.

Any of the My Father stuff is top notch. Le Bijou Petit Robusto is my favorite though. As for other Pepin stuff...the Blue Label Toro is pretty dang good too.
