I'm curious what you guys smoke that takes a lot of time.

I have a fairly short attention span, so long smokes tend to bore me to death. But I'm wondering if there's some smoke that just ROCKS in a larger vitola.

So what's your favorite big smoke, and what's the vitola?

I am 150% saying my favourite large gar is RyJ Churchill 6.9" by 47.

She just blows my mind every time.

Im in the same boat you are Alex...

typically a robusto is about all I can handle in one sitting... probably 75% of my stash is currently made up of robo's or smaller vitolas..

On the rare occasion I want something "bigger".. I usually grab a toro of one of the same blends that I keep on hand in robusto...

Right now my "go-to" toro's are LP#9.. and JdN Antano..

not really "big" smokes.. but they are big for me :)

Yeah I don't think I've ever nubbed a toro. I'm too bored after the first 5 inches.

I like a long smoke as it is a perfect companion to my wood working projects... Only trouble is that the beer warms up if I try to keep them at pace with each other, resulting in a two beer festival. And yes, I am extra careful when the table saw is running! OUCH!

I really want to try a solomon
I went through a salomon phase last year and tried 6 or 8 different blends.. I even picked up a sampler box of 10 of them thinking they would make a good "by the pool all afternoon" kinda smoke.. (I later bombed it out)..

I enjoyed most of the salomons I smoked..

But I dont think I made it to the final 3rd on any of them.. .

just too much stick..
