Sad day for my brother and his partners here in Kalamazoo.

I think of this everyday happening to my brother who is my best friend. I worry about him and it's things traggic like this that scare me the most.
My heart and prayers go out to his family and the KDPS.

Jesus, what's wrong with people anymore? My absolute biggest fear on this job is to hear those 4 words on the radio, 'shots fired, officer down'. I can't even imagine...

Rip Officer Zapata. May your family be able to grieve and carry the good times and memories in your honor. The 13th was the 23 yr anniversary of my wifes father who died in the line of duty as well. 23 years later she still cries on his anniversary.
