After being disappointed by just about everything I've tried, I ran across this Glutenberg IPA from Montreal. Instead of white rice or sorghum, this one is brewed from millet, buckwheat and black rice. It's also a total hop pig (which I enjoy). From the strong citrus notes, I'd guess it contains a large dose of Cascade. It reminds me of a more intense flavored Sierra Nevada Pale Ale.
Now I'm trying to find their Red Ale, which has the addition of molasses and chestnuts. Sounds interesting.

Nice! I got a buddy who's gluten free and "Gluten free" and "Good" are not synonymous terms!...have you tried Redbridge...its a red lager made by Busch ..Im an IPA guy so wouldn't say I was wowed by it, but I remember it being decent...similar to a yuengling...definitely worth a try

I appreciate the heads up. Redbridge is a AB product brewed from rice. It's cheap (as far as gluten free beers go), and drinkable, but still doesn't taste like "real beer" to me. Green's from England makes a very nice line of gluten free ales, but at $6.49 for one lousy 16.9 once bottle, it's not something I drink very often.
