Had my first Tatuaje thanks to my newbie sampler trade with greg (sauzatime).
I had some time yesterday afternoon and it wasn't too hot yet around noon so I figured it would be a good time for a nice little smoke and I pulled out the Verocu #9.
Had and earthy, leathery smell to it and upon light, that's exactly what I got. Earthy, with what seemed to be a leathery backbone to it.
That stayed with me for about the first half. As the second half began, I started picking up a bit of a peppery spice which grew as I worked into the final third of it.
Definitely a good little smoke. Stronger than I was expecting, and I had a small nic buzz going, but that could just be because I hadn't smoked in a few days. I really enjoyed the leather and pepper notes, especially in that final third.
Definitely turned my head towards Tats which so many of you seem to enjoy. I still have another Tatuaje (brown label conoju) in the humi that I might have to check out soon.
(If this needs to be merged with the plethora of other "First tat" threads, that's cool, I understand.
