First wineador:Haier hvw12abb or vinotemp 21?

Here are my buying options for my first wineador. I would appreciate your opinions and insights on potential snafus.

I have the opprotunity to buy a dented haier wine fridge with an etc for 30 dollars. I have heard the haier units crap out. A

I have the opprotunity to buy a vinotemp 21 teds 2z for 100 (maybe 75). This has dual zones (does anyone know if you can set both zones to 64) and is also thermoelectric. Does not have a big ass dent in the side.


I want to install the regulator into which ever one I buy to keep the machine from running all day. I am also going to use computer fans to circulate the air. I will be using heartfelt beads and possibly a cigar oasis unit.

Both are thermoelectric.

Apparrently the haier unit seals well and cools well.

Can anyone chime in and give the new guy some advice?

Stay away from Haier.

My gf had one for wine and it crapped out in 8months time... I was pissed.

These are great deals but honestly I would hold out for a 28, it is just a really great size, and will hold you over for longer. If you need help with the build let me know, I added two computer fans on timers in mine.

I have an Haier and it works just fine.

I have two Haiers and they both work great. Have had one for 4 years and the other one 3 years.

Vinotemp is better.....imho.
