They just opened two more large sized units here at BAMC. It is a great organization that is doing great things for the families of our wounded warriors. I donate to the Fisher Houses every month, and have been ever since I heard about them. Denzel Washington was touring one of the hospitals (can't remember is it was WRAMC or BAMC) visiting the soldiers, and was told about the Fisher Houses. After hearing about them, and what they did, he asked how much they cost to build, and wrote a check on the spot for a new one.

Found out today, that I am actually going to meet Mr. Fisher, the founder of the organization on Sunday/Monday with the opening of the two new houses and the CFI! Kinda lessens the blow of having to meet/spend time with my favorite Senator from New York.
