I go fishing at least 4 times a week, almost always on Saturday and Sunday mornings, and I always take my dog Bo, and we fish for everything from smallmouth bass, trout, catfish, crappie, striped bass, mucky, pike, walleye, largemouth bass... except today. I couldn't take my dog because afterwards I was going to meet Brian (Black Dog Coffee) in Charles Town, WV and then Rodney (smokinafuente) in Martinsburg, WV for the La Aurora cigar rolling event (which was awesome by the way!! Beer, cold beer and free beer was there for drinking; grilled chicken, grilled pizza, grilled snausage and grilled everything was there to grub on....).....anyhow, I left early for a teetime at 3 pm which I needed to make, but backed out of because I felt bad that Bo didn't get to go fishing this morning. So, me and my dog went fishing instead.

Any other anglers here?

Fish the Shenandoah River on my 12' Jon Boat. Mostly fish for smallmouth and largemouth.

I used to and do need to get out again. We have a lot of good trout streams/rivers in Utah. Plus some good lake fishing.

Go fishing more times a week than I can remember. Mostly just little lakes nearby for rainbows. There's a good lake with some kokanee about an hour away, so when I can get up there I do. Not more than a couple warmwater lakes within an hour or two, so I don't get as much bass fishing in as I'd like.
But I don't know what I like more than casting a couple worms out on bobbers on a nice evening and bringing home some trout to eat for dinner. While having a cigar, of course.

I only like fishing in the sea. But it sucks when there's no fish in that sea :frown:

Largemouth/smallmouth, crappie. I used to fish on a smallmouth tour in tourneys all the time. Quit doing that when I got married. Nothing better than nighttime smallmouth tourneys. I still fish once or twice a week. I play more golf than anything though. It's a damn shame how much work gets in the way of my play.
I grew up 20 miles from the lake that holds the world record for smallmouth in lbs. I even know the guy who caught it. Well it was the record last time I checked anyway. Lots of beautiful, clear lakes in TN.

I miss my boat.

I love red snapper. Me and few friends usually charter deep sea and get drunk but we have fun. Then I have a 21 foot Robalo for me and my family we use.

I've been doing entirely too much DIY around the house this summer. I haven't had a chance to go out at all. The kings are about done but I hear the silvers are starting to show up. Hell, I'd be happy to just get out in my float tube for some trout or grayling.
