Five favorite CC

Ok brothers, I'm heading to the Caribbean in a few months and am a CC novice. What are your five favorite Cuban cigars? Also, any tips or resources on spotting fakes would be great.

If it's not from a La Casa Del Habano, it's fake.

Where are you going? There are reputable vendors all over the Caribbean that aren't LCDH but you can't go wrong at a LCDH.

The problem is that I'm going to Nevis. It's a 36 square mile island. I've read that one can buy them at the 4 seasons where we are staying but they have quite a mark up. I've also been told they are found on st. Kitts where we are flying to. Just want to get some good sticks for a fair price.

I know the vendor on St. Kitts at the port where cruise ships dock is legit. (at least they used to be 5 years ago)
It's a duty free shop that sells alcohol and cigars. I'm pretty sure you can Google up a vendor on Nevis, however.

I believe that if you're not experienced with CC's then it's best to first make absolutely sure that you are buying from a legit source by lots of research beforehand, but secondly I would sample the staples from the bigger brands.
Therefore, not necessarily my favorites, but must try's:
1. Partagas Serie D No. 4
2. Montecristo No. 2
3. Cohiba Siglo IV or Robusto
4. Punch Punch
5. Bolivar Belicoso Finos
6. Romeo y Julieta Churchill
7. Hoyo de Monterrey Epicure No. 1 or 2

Sorry for 7 listings, but this would be a great sampler to see what Cuba offers
