Hello,

Thanks for the add. I'm in the DFW area, A-town to be more exact, and married with children.
One of the said children got me a nifty humidor for fathers day recently, so I have been reading up on getting it humid. I have the propylene glycol ordered and bought a gallon jug of distilled water and have been surfing the net on how to get it to "70/70".

I wouldn't call me a frequent smoker but I do enjoy one when I burn it. I don't know if brands/sellers are a thing but I usually buy from finck company in San Antonio. I had been using a sealed acrylic storage unit with the little stick on humid maker, so this humidor thing will hopefully be a step up.

I spend most of my time working, working on our vehicles, and working on home improvements. I used to spend an inordinate amount of time at youth sporing events but that has slowed considerably as three of the four have grown up and moved so only one left to spectate for.

As above thanks for the add, I hope I am able to contribute something one of these days.

I went ahead and threw up a couple pix of one of my toys.

Welcome from STL!

I recommend Boveda for maintaining humidity. Toss a pack in there and as long as it's still squishy, it's doing its job. (y)

Welcome from Chicagoland!

I know there's all kinds of contradicting information on the web, but I think if you asked the vast majority of BOTLs here, they would recommend a lower Rh than 70%. If you like the way yours smoke at that level, by all means do it, but you might find they burn better at a level closer to 65%.
