It depends on your perspective. The Fonseca line are all pretty mild smokes, but I happen to find them to be pretty flavorful. They are nice if you like a mild smoke.

There is alot of cigars that are under $150.00, how long have you been smoking cigars and what line or lines have youi tried, to help you develope your taste?

I've been smoking cigars for about two years. I have tried a few cubans but my favorites have been monte 4s, ryj en cedros, PSP2s and juan lopez pc.

I really like the Fonseca line when I don't feel like having a full bodied cigar. Decent flavor and not quite as mild as you think. It's an awesome morning cigar.
The Fonseca #1 is cheaper by comparison to others in it's size range, but I think you would be disappointed if you bought a box just based on price.

There are some really decent cigars in the Machine Made range that might suit your finacial needs better, and spring for the expensive boxes later as a treat.

I also think you should look at some machine-made Cubans. Por Larranaga Panatelas are usually available on most sites. Even though they are quite small, they are very tastey and priced at $75 give or take.

I bought a box of the Fonseca and enjoyed everyone of them. Nice morning cigar. Goes well with coffee, black, no sugar....the coffee that is!

I always keep a couple of Fonseca Delicias in my humidor. At about $6 Canadian ($4 of which is taxes, I"m sure) they're inexpensive up here and perfect when I'm looking for a quick flavourful yet mild smoke. Great for that short time after work and before dinner.
